Guided by Faith, Driven by Service, Dedicated to the Community
At the Muslim Community Center (Pillars Mosque), our leadership is built on collaboration, accountability, and service to the community.
The mosque operates under a structured governance model that ensures transparency, efficiency, and alignment with our mission of faith, education, and community empowerment.
Our leadership consists of three primary bodies — the Board of Trustees, the Board of Directors, and the Executive Committees — each serving distinct roles to guide, implement, and sustain Pillars Mosque’s vision.
👥 Board of Directors
Oversight, Policy, and Community Representation
The Board of Directors consists of elected representatives from the community who oversee the Executive Director and organizational operations.
They ensure fiscal responsibility, approve budgets, manage policy direction, and guide the long-term growth of the mosque.
The board also plays a key role in conflict resolution and ensuring Pillars Mosque remains transparent and accountable to its members.

💬 Our Commitment to Transparent Governance
Serving with Integrity and Accountability
Our governance model is rooted in Shura (consultation) — a principle deeply embedded in Islamic leadership.
All decisions are made collectively, through discussion, research, and community input.
The Boards and Committees work in synergy to ensure that Pillars Mosque continues to grow responsibly while upholding its mission of faith, education, and service.
“The best of you are those who serve the people.” — Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
